Wyoming Police say a 37 year old victim of domestic violence was taken to an area hospital Sunday morning with minor injuries. The incident may have included a shot fired, and happened outside Cocktailz Bar on Chicago Drive in Wyoming.

A WZZM 13 News viewer who lives in the 600 block of Vries St. SW near Hall Street and Grandville Avenue says officers came knocking at his door this morning to tell him to stay inside and go into his basement.

He tells WZZM 13 that no reason was given.

Shortly around Noon, Wyoming Police and S.W.A.T. team members were seen in the neighborhood assisting Grand Rapids Police.
