Cooling off during National Night Out | News
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- Some Grand Rapids families celebrated National Night Out while beating the summer heat.
Visitors to the Salvation Army Kroc Center enjoyed free ice cream, a giant waterslide, a bounce house and the latest Muppets movie, all for free.
"We're here as a gift to this neighborhood, so that we can have a fun, safe place for families to come out, enjoy the summertime together, and have a good time," explained Major Marc Johnson with the Salvation Army Kroc Center.
