Police release sketch in attempted abduction | News

GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) -- Police have released a sketch of a man investigators say tried to abduct a woman from her fitness club.

It happened around 7 a.m. Monday at the Ramblewood Tennis and Health Club in the 4200 block of Spartan Industrial Dr. in Grandville.

The woman told officers she was leaving the building when a man with a knife approached and told her to get into his car. She says other cars entered the parking lot, leading the suspect to run away.

The suspect is described as a white man, 20-30 years old, 5'5" with a stocky build and facial hair. He was wearing a blue hoodie and jeans.

The victim was not harmed and told officers she does not know the suspect.
