Meijer Scholar Athlete John Evans | News

WYOMING, Mich. (WZZM) WZZM and Meijer are pleased to recognize Kelloggsville High School senior John Evans as our scholar athlete of the week for the week of October 24th.

John is an "ironman" both on and off the football field at Kelloggsville. A running back, linebacker and kicker, John has been known to play every play of some games this season. He recently scored four touchdowns in a win over Allendale. And John has had perfect attendance in school for three years. An excellent student, John maintains a 3.6 grade point average and is a member of the National Honor Society having won numerous academic awards at Kelloggsville. 

John tells WZZM he would like to pursue a career in sports management, studying at Central Michigan, Michigan State or Wayne State.
