Wyoming passersby help clean up spilled milk
News

WYOMING, Mich. (WZZM) -- Witnesses came to the aid of a delivery driver who dropped his load of milk all over a Wyoming intersection.

It happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday at 28th Street and Clyde Park SW.

The driver of a Country Fresh dairy truck was turning to go to his next delivery when he noticed he could see through the trailer he was pulling -- meaning his load of milk and juice has spilled out.

Passersby stopped to help pick up the gallon jugs of milk, chocolate milk and orange juice that were still intact.

The driver, who did not want to speak on camera, says he lost about five carts of milk -- each carrying 120 gallons.

Wyoming firefighters washed the spilled milk off the roadway.

Police reopened the intersection to traffic around 2:30 a.m.
