New VA outpatient clinic planned for Wyoming

FROM USFP News Release:

US Federal Properties Co. (USFP), a Kansas City based development firm, is pleased to announce that it
has been selected to develop and own a new 120,000 square foot outpatient clinic for the Department
of Veterans Affairs to be located at 5838 Metro Way Street in Wyoming, Michigan on the campus of
Metro Health Village.

“We are very pleased to have been selected by the VA to develop and own this state of the art medical
facility which will serve the veterans for decades to come,” stated Rick Baier. Baier is a principal of US
Federal Properties Co. (USFP) and will lead the development team for the project. Design of the facility
will be completed over the next three months with a ground breaking scheduled for April 2013.

Completion is anticipated for a fall 2014 opening.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome the new outpatient clinic for the VA to the Metro Health
Village," said Ellen Bristol, spokesperson for Metro Health. "When we launched the village concept in
2007, we envisioned our campus as a destination for all things health‐related. This clinic will provide
convenient access to much‐needed healthcare services for the men and women of the military who
have so ably served our country. We are very pleased that this long‐anticipated project is underway and
look forward to the grand opening of the newest addition to our growing Village in the fall of next year."

"It's great to see even more expansion of medical services available in Wyoming," said City Manager
Curtis Holt. "The Metro Health Village has been a great destination, and we are pleased that the VA has
decided to locate its new clinic in our city. We continue to work hard to create an environment that's
conducive to this kind of development."

"We value our Wyoming veterans," said Wyoming Mayor Jack Poll. "This brings another level of service
to these honored members of our community. We'll be pleased to welcome veterans from our
surrounding areas as well."

Manhattan Construction, a national contractor in the health care arena will serve as general contractor
and construction manager. Hoefer Wysocki Architects, based in Kansas City, will be the project architect
designing both the building shell and the clinical space.

USFP, based in Kansas City, Missouri, operates around a leadership team of Dan Carr, Rick Baier, and
