Rep. Hooker hosts town hall on April 11

News Release:

State Rep. Tom Hooker, R-Byron Center, will host residents for a local town hall meeting on Monday, April 11.

The lawmaker hopes residents will bring their questions and suggestions about Gov. Rick Snyder's budget proposal, along with any general concerns or ideas they have.

"The more I can listen to the people in my district, the better I am at representing them in Lansing," Hooker said. "I know that the governor's proposed budget is something people have a lot of thoughts on, and I'm very interested in hearing those thoughts while my colleagues and I continue to work on a final draft."

The Wyoming Branch of the Kent District Library will host the town hall meeting, which will be on Monday, April 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The library is located in Wyoming at 3350 Michael Ave. SW.
