A musical that inspires greatness

Sunday afternoon, Holy Trinity Lutheran School in Wyoming was the place to be to enjoy an inspiring musical put on by the students of the school.  The play titled "The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hits" used humor, drama, and song to tell the story of David and Goliath.  The story focused on David as he tried to convince the Isreallite soldiers to trust in The Lord, and that with faith, they could succeed even when confronted with a giant.  The giant, certainly one of the most entertaining parts of the drama as he made his way toward the stage to do battle with David, proved that no matter what the size, Yahweh can help you conquer your biggest problems.

Wyoming City Spring Voting: May 3rd, 2011

Look ahead to your civic duty, May 3rd 2011 for the Wyoming City School Board Elections.  Maybe not the 'most' important election but in my eyes important enough, there is at least one proposal which is asking for a city tax hike.  I am beginning to receive candidate pamphlets I bet you are too.

Proposal on Ballot may vary by location, check out a sample ballot at the State of Michigans voting website:
