City Manager's Blog - Fall is here
City Manager's Blog - Fall is here

Fall is on its way and very quickly we are going to see the leaves piling up in our yards. Each year our Public Works Department does its best to help residents dispose of yard waste.
Beginning on Sept. 26, residents can rent a trailer from the Public Works Department for the disposal of leaves.  The trailers are delivered and picked up by City of Wyoming personnel, so all you have to do is fill it up.

Small (3-4 cy) $5 weekday; $10 weekend
Large (6-8 cy)  $10 weekday; $20 weekend
We also have a yard waste disposal drop off site located at 2660 Burlingame Ave. SW. The location is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through December 10. The site requires ID for entrance.
Finally, on December 3, leaves will be picked up at the curb throughout the city. The leaves need to be placed in paper bags and brush must be bundled, no longer than 4 ft., and placed at the curb by 6 a.m.
Help keep Wyoming beautiful by taking care of your yard this fall!
