Loud fireworks still illegal in Wyoming

WYOMING - With the upcoming 4th of July holiday coming up soon, and the predisposition to some in my neighborhood to shoot off fireworks for the two weeks before and after the holiday, I thought it would be a wise reminder that loud, exploding, flying fireworks are illegal in Wyoming...and the entire state of Michigan.  So for those who are trying to make the neighborhood sound like a warzone, I offer this information about the law in Michigan:

All other types of fireworks are considered illegal and will subject you to a misdemeanor, including cherry bombs, comets (a star that shoots up 50-100 feet in the air), firecrackers, M-80s (and larger), bottle rockets, Roman candles (a long tube that shoots stars into the air), Silver Salutes (flash powder), torches, and wheel-type devices.

I'm not sure how often the Wyoming Police Department checks out fireworks complaint calls, but we may start soon finding out.
