My Town Wyoming: Police search for driver who hit bicyclist

WYOMING, Mich.—Wyoming Police are looking for the driver who hit a bicyclist and drove away.

Officers say 52-year-old Joseph Errol Conigliaro was riding in the 600 block of 36th Street SW when he was hit.  He was found lying unresponsive in the roadway around 7:30 a.m. on March 15.  He was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.

Officers believe the driver who hit Conigliaro was traveling in the curb lane on westbound 36th Street.  The vehicle may have damaged to its passenger side mirror.  Anyone with information in this case is asked to call the Wyoming Department of Public Safety at (616) 530-7323 or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.
