Wyoming defeats the Gypsy Moth

Wyoming defeats the Gypsy Moth

WYOMING - Thanks to two successful years of spraying for Gypsy Moths, the City of Wyoming is getting a year off.

In "The Record", Wyoming residents learned that due to spraying the last couple of years and the gypsy moth natural cycle, spraying in 2011 would be unnecessary, according to the company that monitors the moths in Wyoming, Aquatic Consulting Services.

The spraying will be reevaluated next Spring.

Residents who are concerned and want to continue to protect their own trees can purchase the products at local garden stores.
