My Town Wyoming: Family prepares to move into new Habitat home

WYOMING, Mich.—A West Michigan family is getting ready to move into their new home, thanks to some sweat equity and a team of Habitat for Humanity women volunteers.

The home at 1046 Rathbone Ave. SW is part of the Habitat Women Build program.  Habitat for Humanity of Kent County joined the new homeowner and her family last Tuesday to dedicate the new living space.

The home is part of Habitat Kent’s Building Blocks Campaign to revitalize West Side neighborhoods.  At least two other homes on Rathbone are also part of the program.  The newest home under construction should be finished by August.
