Wyoming History-Room

If you've ever been interested in the history of Wyoming, look no further than the Wyoming History-Room. I recently stumbled upon their Facebook page and was pleasantly surprised by the number of great photos they have of Wyoming's past.

The Wyoming History Room is located in the Wyoming Public Library and is open 10:00 am to 1:00 pm every Tuesday as well as the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month.

Book Club in a Bag from the Wyoming Library

The Wyoming Library is pleased to offer the Book Club in a Bag program, which allows book groups to check out a bag of everything they’ll need for their book discussion! Each canvas bag contains 12 copies of a book and a printed list of discussion questions and author information.

Each bag is available for an extended check-out period (Six weeks suggested; please see staff member when checking out) and is reservable in advance by contacting Ali Kuchta at 616-784-2016×2179 or e-mailing akuchta@kdl.org. Bags can be picked up and returned at any KDL branchRequests are limited to KDLcardholders only.

WKTV joins Grand Rapids Art Museum for 'Friday Night Conversations'

WKTV General Manager Tom Norton will be inspiring audience members to “Just Look Inside!” WKTV in order to help shape the future of media creation in West Michigan at the Grand Rapids Art Museum’s “Friday Night Conversations” series at the GRAM Friday, August 19 at 7:30 PM.  Called “WKTV:  Your Perspective is Requested”, Tom Norton will be inviting audience members to experience the tremendous asset that WKTV is to content creators everywhere.  WKTV, a national leader in community media production, provides access to and training in the latest and greatest media production tools including HD portable cameras, Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite software, two production studios with green screen and cyclorama, an on-location production mobile unit and much more.
