GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - You can take in some art or you can celebrate polish heritage. There's several events going on this weekend.

Party in the Parking Lot to Strike Out Cancer is Friday at Park Lanes Bowling Alley in Wyoming. The event goes from 3 - 10 p.m.

Friday is the 27th Van Andel Institute Community for a Cure event. There will be a model car display, bowling, and a drive-in movie. Proceeds benefits cancer research.

The Polish Festival is Saturday at Rosa Parks Circle. Participants can enjoy authentic food, music and beer. The event it's free.

15,000 cars are expected to be at the 28th Street Metro Cruise. Just head over to Woodland Mall, Rogers Plaza and other host sites along 28th Street from Grandville to Cascade. The cruise is Saturday and Sunday.

You can catch some deals at the massive church garage sale at Madison Square Church in Grand Rapids. There will be back to school bargains starting at 50 cents. It runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The Heirloom Tomato Festival is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Rockford. Head over to the Reds on the River parking lot.

And the Lake Michigan Art Walk is coming back. Last month's event was so popular, organizers are doing it again this weekend. It's at the Frauenthal center for Performing Arts in Muskegon, Saturday and Sunday.
